When Toyota engineers decided to put that motor into that car the very first time, some who were there say that angels started singin and one of the engineers who had never cried in his lifetime actually shed a single tear that rolled down his cheek and dropped on the motor. Any truth to that? We’ll never know. But we do know one thing. A legend was born that day and over a decade later, the Supra still sits on top of the pecking order. The bulletproof 2JZGTE has proven it can produce ungodly amounts of power with minimal work. It eats what it wants, Pisses where it wants, and is feared throughout the land. Names like Ferrari and Lamborghini have prestige and the pedigree, but when it comes to dominating on the street, even those names bow down to a tuned Supra. If you have a Supra, you know it, and if you don’t have one, you want one. Truth to this statement can be found looking at the used car market in which the Supra is one of the few late model Japanese cars that actually APRECIATED in value over the last few years. Can you imagine that? The longer you drove a supra, the more it was worth! Jade’s example is the pride and joy of Steve Sawicki. And although it is a “Best of Show” candidate at any event and car show it attends, this big dawg also has the bite to back up the bark.
